as of today, i am finally saturaday-free! hee. so damn happy seh. i no longer have to sacrifice my saturday or even half a saturday for work! hahaa.another thing is, I JUST HAD MY HAIR CHOPPED. hahaa. looks damn short now. but at least, i've finally done sth that i've always wanted to do ever since thousands of years ago! lol. for next sat, most probably i'll be going for a facial and to spend time shopping with mummy! hehs. im so excited now.
and yea, im going for POPEYES now! LOL. joyce is gonna be tempted! oops. im sorry. hehs. bye!

i had a gd night's slp ytd. hee. like finally!and i'll be going out soon..
i guess i have been spending so much time at work that i havent been having a social life lately.
its abt time to meet out with soon with some peeps uh. (prepare to come out!!)
perhaps i'll share some things i've learnt abt in ipp.
cold call senario 1:
me: gd morning name, this is jacelyn calling from ipp. my purpose of this call today is to invite you to a meeting with us, so that we can share with you the financial services we provide.
her: oh. errr.. i cannot bear risks ah. i am very old. i cannot.
me: oh, its ok name. ipp has a comprehensive suite of financial services that im sure there are sth that may cater to your needs.
her: dont need la. i do my own investments. thanks. (hung up)
like WTH?! hahaa. cannot bear risks still can invest? -.-
cold call senario 2:

her: do u know how bad the mkt is now? ppl are losing all their life savings u know?! its their hard-earned money! but ppl from the banks tell them its safe.. its guaranteed.. (blah blah blah)
me: well name, we are neither a bank or insurance company. in fact, we work with them to provide our clients with a one-stop solution. we are the largest independent financial advisory firm in singapore.
her: now the largest also can collapse la! and im scared of banks now. i dont trust banks!
me: oh name, u sound quite bad. were u affected by the mkt condition now?
her: no. i thank god that i didnt buy anything. its better to keep money with myself. im not greedy. its gd enough that i have enough money to spend.
me: well its a personal preference. if u like it that way, i cant force u too. but my job is to introduce u abt wad we have and wad we do to help our clients. of cox, if u still insist that its gd to keep money with urself, fine. thanks for ur time anyway. bye.
after this, i realised there are just some ppl like that, where they get very defensive when they see certain news etc. although they are not at all affected abt it.
ppl who have lost money in investments are only telling me "it is not the time now. i have been losing money in the market. no funds now."
thats the irony of life. hahaa!
anyway, i've learnt a lot abt the market from the trainings conducted by the supervisors. its really interesting to watch the market cox no one really know wad will happen.
im not sure if my peers actually know abt the market now as well, but its going really bad. i can see that most investments are going down down down. if i were still in secondary sch like my sis, i reckon i wont be bothered much by it. u will hear everyoe say that times are not gd now but since it doesnt affect u, u wont really understand how bad it is. u will still get ur allowance daily. hahaa.
okay im gonna prepare to go out alr. my bf is waiting =x bye!
