POLICE have arrested three suspected pickpockets who are believed to be part of a syndicate responsible for the recent spate of thefts in Tampines, Central, Bedok Central and Ang Mo Kio Hub. was informed abt it only today - of the pickpocket case which was cracked by connie. (sadly i couldnt get the online article of it) and she was awarded this "plate" by the police force la. so cool right! but thats so dangerous too =x cox the syndicate have not been caught yet. i hope she'll be well and fine!
well was supposed so meet my sa grp mates to chiong proj at 8am but the same old me couldnt pull myself out of bed on time. in the end, it was too late when i next opened my eyes. well then, prepared for work. on my way there, connie called me. i ansed and i heard her voice calling me. but somehow along the way, i heard a somewhat diff voice asking me sth foreign.
"connie": u know the spinbox we have, cannot on leh. like spoil. have to go into the storeroom to switch on?
me: huh? wad spinbox? wad cannot on? where got storeroom? i dunno leh. =x
"connie": there.. the spinbox la.. the one we have.. have to ... ... (blah blah)
me: wad? i dunno wad u saying leh.
"connie": ure May Chan right?
me: no.
"connie": then who are u?
me: im jacelyn.
"connie": huh who?
me: JACELYN.
"connie": but this is May Chan's number right?
me: NO. this is my number.
"connie": (vaguely) SPH...
tooh.. tooh..

then connie called again. this time it was really her voice throughout. she asked me what happened cox she seemed to be talking to someone else too. LOL. her scenario:
connie: hello xiao mei arh where are u?

connie: huh wad are u doing there?! got work leh.
"me": are u feline/pearlene?
connie: no.
connie: who are u?
"me": may.
connie: then u know jacelyn?
"me": ya.

LOL la. this is so so so funny. so actually our lines got cut with another duo. and connie thought that was my friend =.= HAHAA.
okay then at work today.. this grp of typical ah bengs + 1 ah lian (abt 6-8 altgt) came in and stood at the entrance looking in as if they're looking for someone. i turned and looked at them suspiciously =/ (natural reaction ok) and right after cashiering, i went over to them and the rest except 2 guys left. one of the guys then asked:
ah beng: today got 2 staffs nv work ah?
me: huh?
ah beng: got one is wear specs, abit fat fat de.
me: oh ya, she nv work.
ah beng: huh she not working alr ah?
me: she not working TODAY.
ah beng: (smiling to himself) oh.. (after a pause) eh im banned leh.
me: banned u still come in for wad?
ah beng: come in see see la.
me: see wad?
ah beng: see zha bor lor.
i stared at him with the "wth look".
then he just turned and said bye to me.
so weird. but after telling connie abt it then i realised they're the suspected pickpockets/thieves that my 2 other colleagues had caught last wk but let them off cox they were too "fierce" and "vulgar". i wonder if they'll come back tml. that'll be interesting =)
will be meeting my proj mates tml morning. hope i'll be able to wake up! NOT MUCH TIME LEFT. gdnite! ^^
